About Nova Tower

Nova is so obsessed with real estate that her family has a code word for when she's talking too much about it at the dinner table. Luckily for Nova, she gets to share all her real estate knowledge and wisdom with her clients, no code word needed. Nova's approach is all about empowering her clients to identify and achieve their real estate goals with confidence.

It combines everything I am passionate about and experienced in: strategic thinking, analysis, teaching and guiding, working with people, and all things related to purchasing, selling, owning and managing property.

 

Nova is originally from New York City, educated at The Hotchkiss School and University of Pennsylvania. But Nova maintains her greatest education came from sailing across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Prior to moving to Portland in 2009, Nova was teaching open ocean sailing in outdoor education programs.

 

It was sailing that brought Nova to Portland where she fell in love with the coast, the people, the community, and of course the restaurants. As soon as she knew she was here to stay, she began saving for her first multifamily investment property, while working in the Portland startup community, honing her business development and sales skills.

 

Nova is a graduate of the Maine Center for Entrepreneurial Development's Top Gun Program. It was Nova's own experience as a real estate investor that ultimately led her to her real estate license. Nova began helping others achieve their real estate goals in 2016. Nova serves on the Sustainability Advisory Group at GPBR.

 

The mission of the SAG is to educate and advise GPBR, its members, their clients and associates on issues and resources pertaining to climate change and the real estate industry. Nova lives in Portland with her husband, Nathan, their two little, Eloise and Odin, and their goofy doodle, Baloo. "Life in Portland is the perfect balance.

 

It offers all the amenities of urban living without sacrificing easy access to nature. We have James Beard winning menus, world-class art, and a thriving downtown; we also have beaches, woods, marshes, mountains, islands, rivers, lakes, all within 5 to 60 minutes of my front door. That nature is precious to our lifestyle here, which is why I am Co-Chair of the Leadership Council at the Maine Coast Heritage Trust, Maine's largest land trust.

 

At MCHT, we believe in protecting and conserving the Maine Coast, promoting coastal resilience to climate change and ensuring community access for all. I'm also actively engaged with a variety of organizations around Portland. Nearest to my heart is the Center for Grieving Children, where I have previously held a long term weekly volunteer position facilitating a bereavement group for kids. I now substitute when needed.
